Welcome Spiritual Wanderers!

Greetings one and all!  My name is the Lady Demaresta and this blog is being launched to chronicle my musings on my chosen spirituality, Norse Paganism.  I have only followed this faith for two years, but I feel that my spiritual consciousness has grown in the past two years to foster a deep and natural connection to this world and the legacy of the people within it.  Whether that legacy is in looking to the gods and goddesses for guidance, thinking on the spirits, or meditating on the ancestors, all has led me further on my journey.

I wanted to launch this blog to write on topics that interest me - I hope they are of interest to you as well.  There is a peace, a solace, in understanding the ways of the Norse.  There is a wonderful reality of this spiritualism that I take comfort in learning.  I hope you do as well.

Even if you are not a Norse Pagan, or do not classify your own spiritual journey as Heathe, Asatru, Vanatru, or Urglaawe (to name a few), you may still find some ideas here that inspire you in your spiritual journey.  I hope all find the spiritual journey that calls to them, as we are all one people, one world.  We will all find our paths in the wilderness in our own ways.

Hail the Gods and Goddesses!  Hail the Spirits!  And Hail the Ancestors!  We light the torch not to worship the ashes, but to carry on the flame.
